Keely-Shaye Boon
Keely-Shaye Boon graduated from the University of Witwatersrand in 2021, with a Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Keely-Shaye was fortunate enough to gain immeasurable experience working with clients from birth to geriatrics, whilst working as the sole speech-language pathologist in both Zola Clinic, in Soweto and Alexandra Clinic.
After gaining further experience working in private practice, Keely-Shaye decided to found her own practice to focus on her passions: neurodivergent communication development, early intervention and oral motor planning difficulties.
Keely-Shaye went on to complete multiple postgraduate certifications and trainings, to further support her knowledge and skills whilst working with the neurodivergent population. Keely-Shaye maintains experience in the ever-changing world of speech therapy through the attendance of webinars, health talks and multidisciplinary engagements.

OUR APPROACH
We uphold an environment of neurodiversity-affirming practices
At Keely-Shaye Boon Speech Therapy, we prioritise the wellbeing of our clients by enveloping ourselves into their world. Our approach goes beyond traditional speech therapy, as we believe that a social-emotional connection is vital to all communication development.
We praise ourselves for our focus on empowering our clients and their caregivers to enhance their skills and independence in caring for their children's communication needs.
Through neurodiversity-affirming practices, we aim to make a positive difference in the lives of our clients and their support systems.
